Real Assistants in an Online World

FAQ

What is a Virtual Assistant?

“Virtual assistants are independent contractors who (from a remote location, usually their home or office) support multiple clients in a variety of industries by providing administrative, creative, and technical services.” (via www.ivaa.org)

What industries do you work with?

We specialize in working with consultants who contract to large corporations or government agencies. Our clients include a Pharmaceutical Consultant, Programmers, a Transportation Consultant, a Call Center Strategist, Marketing Specialists, musicians, authors, coaches, and local (brick & mortar) businesses.

How does it work?

  1. All clients begin with a free consultation with our President, Cindy Opong who will learn about your business and determine if we can meet your needs. Cindy is in touch regularly with every client and is always available via phone and email.
  2. You are paired with a Virtual Assistant who will work with you day in and day out, making sure your projects are done quickly and efficiently (and of course to the top level of excellence!). We understand how important it is to develop a relationship with your VA and know that you will have a long-term relationship with someone you trust.
  3. Your VA is your project manager and primary point of contact. She is the one you talk to via email and phone on a daily basis and is the one who usually does a majority of the work on your projects (standard administrative tasks, Social Media maintenance, etc.). We encourage you to be in close communication with your VA, letting her see the bigger picture of your business and clients. This way she can anticipate needs, suggest ways to streamline and improve productivity, and represent your business as a partner and not just a “task-doer”.
  4. When projects require a skill outside your VA’s area of expertise, she will call on another team member who can step in to complete that piece. These team members may be in direct contact with you to eliminate any miscommunication or lost time on your project.

Your VA and our other team members become an extension of you and your business. We are invested in your success and strive to learn your business so well that you forget we aren’t an employee! We are here to provide you with peace of mind and free you to do the work you love the most.

How soon can we start?

Once we have a contract in place, we can start right away!

What are some ways you can help?

Download our free .pdf 40+ Ways to Use a VA for ways we can help your business! This is not a comprehensive list, but will give you a jumping off point for ideas.

What are your rates?

We work on a package model rather than hourly and will create a custom package for you after our initial consultation.

The advantage to you:

1. You don’t have to constantly be wondering:

  • “Should I send this to my VA or will her time be better used on another project?”
  • “Is it worth paying $x/hour for my VA to do this?”
  • “Is my VAs time for this month almost up? Maybe we should wait until next month to tackle this project.”

You’re hiring a VA so you don’t have to stay up at night worrying about these things – you need your project to be done without the stress of managing a VA’s time!

2. We don’t like stressing about the clock either! Sometimes a project will take more time than expected or we’ll want to spend extra time implementing that extra feature or making it even more perfect. When we’re constantly looking at the clock, we’re wondering “Is this ‘good enough’?” or “Would the client want to use their hours for this extra piece?” Working on a project basis frees us to go above and beyond for you – focusing on RESULTS, not time.

3. You have a consistent budget and know that certain things will always been done as part of that budget.

How do I send payment?

We accept payment via check, credit card, Intuit Payment Network and PayPal.
