Your article hit so close to home. I am still in the same boat, but I now see myself in as a businesswoman. Although, I am seeking to be a successful virtual assistant because that is what I can do very well and get paid decent money to support me and my son (my business is yet off the ground). I really love art and singing (I even kept my designs and drawings hoping to one day do something with them), but never felt secure enough to go out and pursue it, but I have been in the clerical and administrative field since I graduated from high school. I'm more experienced there. So what's a girl to do?
